It's been a long time since I posted here.
I finished the 3rd book in my Pilgrimage trilogy. It is called The Road Onward. It compares journeys or pilgrimages using John Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress, Jack Kerouac's On the Road, and my own misadventures. The first two books in the trilogy were 1) The Missing Spoke, and 2) The Way of the Wind.
I felt like the Lord was tellin' me to finish The Road Onward because he wanted me to do something else, so it is not as long as I envisioned it. Perhaps I'll add some meat and potatoes to it in a later edition.
I felt like the Lord Up Above was tellin' me to write a book for young folks. So I wrote a family-friendly book for all ages entitled The Tantalizing Tale of Sassafras Sal. I felt the Lord sayin' to me, "Hey, I made everything in one week. You can make a book in that time." I finished it in one week, although I have been inspired to add and edit some things. My family members are reading the proof copies right now, so we'll see what they think of it. I think that it is the best work I've done because I wasn't doin' it alone. I felt the Lord's guidance every step along the way. I am hopin' that it will be available for purchase very soon. The price is $7.77.
